Zona Tropical Homestay is an eco-conscious, ocean-front house nested in the tropical jungle of Carenero Island. Carenero is one of the gems of the Bocas del Toro archipelago. It is known for having world-class surf breaks, beautiful reefs for snorkeling, and crystal clear warm waters.
In Zona Tropical Homestay, we want you to enjoy a Caribbean adventure with all the modern amenities you need to relax.
The house is located directly on the beach, with the front yard facing the pristine waters of the Caribbean Sea. This modern and tranquil getaway is surrounded by palm trees and the sublime sounds of nature.
We rent private rooms or our entire house for your retreat. We also offer in-house meal services for our guests. We can also help you organize experiences in Bocas like scuba diving, cacao farm tours, and sailing!

Snorkel, kayak, surf or relax on the beach right in front of the house. We rent all the equipment you need to fully enjoy what the environment here has to offer you. We love to surf and we offer board rentals, lessons and guided surf trips for our guests. Take advantage of our kayaks, SUPs, snorkel gear, beach chairs and coolers free for our guests.

We’re here to help you feel as comfortable as if you were at home. We offer communal spaces to connect and enjoy nightly home-cooked dinners from our kitchen, or enjoy space to relax in the peaceful garden or your private room. You can also cook your own meals in the communal kitchen.
